About our noodles

Chow mein arrived in Nepal by way of Tibet and China and became genuinely Nepali on the way — wok-tossed hot and fast, with more spice than you would expect and never any grease. Keema noodles are the street-cart version: minced meat cooked down with onion, tomato and ginger, then folded through the noodles. Sadeko noodles are served cold and sour, which surprises people the first time.

We cook to order, so tell us your heat level and we will match it. Chulo is a family-run Nepali, Himalayan and Indian kitchen on Derry Street in Harrisburg — you order here, on our own site, and the restaurant is paid directly with no third-party commission taken out.
