About our breads
Naan is baked to order, which is the only way it is worth eating — soft and blistered, brushed while it is still hot. Order one per person if there is curry on the table; the bread is the utensil. Sel roti is the Nepali one: a sweet rice-flour ring fried fresh, eaten at Tihar and Dashain and at every roadside tea stall in between.
We cook to order, so tell us your heat level and we will match it. Chulo is a family-run Nepali, Himalayan and Indian kitchen on Derry Street in Harrisburg — you order here, on our own site, and the restaurant is paid directly with no third-party commission taken out.
